Nowadays, in many homes in Tehran, the limitation of the size of the bedroom has made the basic selection and design of the closet very important. A disproportionate closet can occupy a significant part of the useful space of the room, while modern box closet design and construction with careful planning can make the best use of the height, width and depth of the room. Due to its orderly structure, customization capability, and the possibility of various divisions, the boxy wardrobe is considered one of the practical options for modern bedrooms.
In Tehran, where the variety of buildings, the size of the units, and the shape of the rooms are very large, the construction of a ready-made wardrobe does not always meet the needs of the users. In such a situation, a dedicated design can be a suitable solution for maximum use of the available space. Razazi Decoration, focusing on the design and implementation of all kinds of wardrobes and interior decoration equipment, can help you in choosing the model, material, color, dimensions and implementation details of a modern box wardrobe.
What is a modern chest of drawers?
A boxy closet is a type of closet whose interior is designed based on specific boxes and sections. Each part can be used for different applications such as hanging clothes, folded clothes, shoes, bags, accessories or personal items.
In designing and building a modern box wardrobe, the internal structure is usually determined before the final implementation so that every centimeter of available space has a specific use. This feature is especially important for small bedrooms.
In a basic design, parts with different heights, multiple drawers, adjustable floors, regal space and even a special section for low-consumption appliances can be considered. The result is a comedy that, in addition to its beautiful appearance, gives more order to the room.
Why is it important to design a special wardrobe box for the bedroom?
One of the common problems in buying a ready-made wardrobe is the existence of standard dimensions that may not be compatible with the space of the room. For example, there may be unused space between the closet and the ceiling, or the width of the closet may limit the movement path.
On the contrary, the design and construction of modern box wardrobe is done based on the actual size of the room. In this method, the place of columns, irregular walls, depressions, sockets and even the opening of doors can be considered.
For this reason, the exclusive design of the closet can help to increase the storage capacity in addition to beauty.
Maximum use of the vertical space of the room
One of the most important principles in designing a wardrobe for the bedroom is the correct use of height. In many rooms, the space above the closet remains unused, while it can be turned into a place to store luggage, bedding, seasonal clothes, and low-use items.
In the design and construction of a modern box wardrobe, the closet can be extended up to the ceiling. In addition to increasing storage space, this creates a unified and neat appearance.
The upper parts are usually suitable for devices that are not used daily, and the middle and lower parts are designed for frequently used devices.
The interior design of the box wardrobe based on the user's needs
Appearance is only one part of wardrobe design. More importantly, the internal structure should be in harmony with the user's lifestyle and the size of his belongings.
For one bedroom, the wardrobe space may be more important, while in another room, the number of drawers and shelves are more useful. Therefore, it is better to check the real needs of the user before starting the implementation in the design and construction of a modern wardrobe.
For example, the following sections can be considered in the design:
- Regal space for long and short clothes
- Drawers for small clothes
- Multiple layers for folded clothes
- Special space for bags and shoes
- Storage section for luggage and seasonal items
- Small compartments for accessories
- Adjustable layers
- Dedicated space for personal belongings
This division makes using the closet easier and more organized.
Material selection in the construction of modern box wardrobes
The material plays an important role in the durability, appearance and final cost of the wardrobe. In interior decoration projects, usually the choice of material should be done according to the overall design of the room, the amount of use and the budget.
MDF is one of the widely used materials in making all kinds of wardrobes and interior decoration equipment. The variety of color and design of MDF makes it possible to coordinate the wardrobe with modern, neoclassical or minimal styles.
In the design and construction of a modern box wardrobe, you can use the combination of simple colors and wooden designs to make the room warmer and more attractive. Choosing a light color can also help create a more open feeling in small rooms.
Choosing the right color for the bedroom closet
The color of the wardrobe should match the color of the wall, floor, bed and other decoration elements. In modern design, neutral colors, white, gray, cream, and different ranges of wood designs are usually considered.
For rooms with limited natural light, using bright colors can be a good choice. On the other hand, in larger rooms, you can use a combination of darker colors or wooden designs.
The goal of designing and building a modern chest of drawers is not just to create a storage space; Rather, the closet should be seen as part of the bedroom decoration.
Chest of drawers for a small bedroom in Tehran
One of the most important uses of box wardrobes is the optimal use of small rooms. In urban apartments, every square meter is valuable and the wrong design can reduce the useful space of the room.
For a small room, you can design the closet along one wall and use the height to increase the storage capacity. It is also very important to choose the correct depth of the closet; Because the closet is too deep, it may limit the movement path.
In such projects, the design and construction of a modern box wardrobe should be done in a way that balances the capacity, beauty and free space of the room.
Using the right door in the box closet
The type of closet door also affects the amount of space used in the room. Hinged doors require opening space, while in some designs, railed doors can be used.
The choice between these models depends on the dimensions of the room, the location of the bed and other furniture. In limited rooms, it is very important to check the opening path of the door before implementing the closet.
In the design and construction of modern box wardrobes, the appearance of the doors can also be coordinated with the interior design and simple surfaces, wood design, glass or a combination of several materials can be used.
Modern chest of drawers and more order in the bedroom
One of the important advantages of a box wardrobe is to create order in things. When every device has a specific place, it becomes easier to access and the room looks neater.
The internal division of the closet should be done based on the type of items. Everyday clothes can be placed in accessible parts and low-use items can be placed in higher parts.
For this reason, designing and building a modern chest of drawers can play an important role in managing the space of everyday life in addition to the beauty aspect.
The design of the box wardrobe is in harmony with the decoration style
The closet should not be an element separate from other components of the room. If the bedroom has a modern design, it is better for the closet to have simple lines, harmonious colors and minimal details.
For classic or neoclassical decorations, you can use details and combinations that suit these styles. Harmony between the wardrobe, bed, dressing table, nightstand and other elements creates visual unity in the room.

The role of fittings in the quality of the wardrobe
Hinges, drawer rails, handles and other fittings are directly related to the daily operation of the wardrobe. Using the right fittings can make the movement of doors and drawers smoother and improve the experience of using the closet.
In a professional project, the choice of fittings should not be based on appearance alone. The amount of use, the weight of the door, the type of design and the use of each part should also be considered.
Custom closet design for special spaces
Not all rooms have completely smooth walls and standard dimensions. Sometimes, the presence of a column, depression, corner or slope of the ceiling makes it difficult to use a ready-made wardrobe.
One of the advantages of designing and building a modern box wardrobe is that you can coordinate the design with the real conditions of the space. In such a situation, different parts of the closet can be designed according to the existing dimensions.
This issue becomes more important for renovation projects and apartments that have unconventional plans.

The dimensions of the wardrobe, the type of MDF and material used, the number of drawers and floors, the type of door, fittings, interior design and executive details are among the effective factors.
The more specific the design and the more details, the time and materials may increase. Therefore, before announcing the price, it is better to measure and measure the exact needs.

The stages of designing and making a modern box wardrobe
A basic project usually consists of several stages. First, the desired space is checked and measured. Then the needs of the user are specified and the internal structure of the closet is designed.
In the next step, the material and color are selected and the details of the door, drawers, floors and fittings are specified. After the design is finalized, the construction process is done and finally the parts are installed at the project site.
Exact execution of each step is important in designing and building a modern chest of drawers; Because the smallest error in the measurement or implementation of connections can affect the final quality.
Important points before ordering a box wardrobe
Before ordering, it is better to determine what items are going to be placed in the closet. The number of hanging clothes, folded clothes, shoes, bags and seasonal items can change the internal structure of the closet.
